Boston

Good morning all,

Sorry we haven't wrote anything in days. We have been super busy in New York. We did a boat ride around the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We went to the Lion King, which was our favorite. On Sunday we went to the Yankees game.
We had such a great time in New York, but were happy to move onto to Boston.

Another highlight from our trip was getting to see John Mayer in concert on the Today show. We stood in line from 4am til 6:30am before they actually let us in.

Here is a picture of the boys from one of our nice dinners. They have been such good boys with barely any complaining at all! We have done a ton of walking too!!!!

White House and Capital Tour

Yesterday was a very fun filled packed day. It was our last day to tour Washington DC. We started early in the morning with the White House. It was very interesting to see photos from past and presidents. We got to view 8 rooms including the east room, where he held a press conference yesterday!

Then the boys went with their dad to the National Aquarium, which they loved. Logan loved the huge shark and Maverick enjoyed the turtles. The girls went to the Holocaust Museum, which was very very moving.

After our busy morning we went to the capitol for a tour. It was a very educating experience with many things to see. We got to see in on one senate meeting and watch from above. It was very cool to witness. We also were privaleged to see John Thune. He visited with us and took some photos for us.

the capital and white house today

Good morning everyone,
You are all probably still in bed this morning. It is 530am here so 430 am your time.
We had to drive in to washington, dc super early to beat the traffic. We are heading to the capitol today for a guided tour by john thunes office. We hear that it is even more exciting because senate is passing a bill today for extending unemployment, so that should be interesting.

Yesterday was many of our favorites day when we were privileged enough to have a wonderful tour guide with us at arlington national cemetery where we saw jfk's tomb, and the best part was the changing of the guard. It was so amazing to watch. I (sonia) recorded that to show later.

We also saw the vietnam memorial, korean, lincoln's. It was so great to have ed, our tour guide with us to explain many unique facts to all the memorials.

We ended our night relaxing and watching a movie in our room.

Good Morning all

Friends and Family,

Please take some time to view our blogspot as we travel on our family vacation to Washington D.C., New York, and Boston this month.

Since I am a teacher I have to throw in a few learning experiences for the kids. When we have time we will try and upload pictures from our trips and the kids will journal about what they are seeing and doing.

Please feel free to post comments and or questions for them or us on our journey.
